Steelers DT Hoke announces retirement

01/25/2012 - Pittsburgh, PA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Chris Hoke has announced his retirement after 11 seasons in the NFL.

The 35-year-old nose tackle from Brigham Young University had three tackles in six games this year for the Steelers before undergoing season-ending surgery on his neck.

For his career, Hoke played in 114 games, all with the Steelers, recording 83 total tackles and two sacks.
